Mario Cristobal reloaded for what could be an even better 2026.

NC State (7.16 BiteScore in 2025, 17th in the nation)

6.5 – Over

QB CJ Bailey is back for NC State after an impressive 8-win campaign in 2025. If the front-five can protect their guy effectively, this offense can carry the Wolfpack to over 6.5.

Duke (6.78 BiteScore in 2025, 20th in the nation)

5.5 – Under

This line feels harsh for the defending ACC champions, but Duke took a big punch to the gut with Miami’s outbidding for Darian Mensah. Quarterback questions are never questions you want to have, and the Blue Devils went 3-5 in 2025 when they turned the ball over.

Louisville (6.37 BiteScore in 2025, 25th in the nation)

7.5 – Over

Jeff Brohm has overperformed time and time again at Louisville. The Cardinals are bringing in the No. 13-ranked transfer class while returning stud running back Isaac Brown and fearsome edge rusher Clev Lubin.

Virginia (5.93 BiteScore in 2025)

7.5 – Under

Virginia is coming off an impressive 11-win season but an underwhelming off-season. The Cavaliers landed a bottom-of-the-barrel transfer quarterback in Missouri’s Beau Pribula. Offensive firepower is needed in this QB-rich conference. 

SMU (5.54 BiteScore in 2025)

8.5 – Under

SMU’s talent level isn’t much different than seasons past, but its schedule sure is. Some brutal road games include Florida State in Week 1, Louisville and Notre Dame. This Mustangs squad needs a win in every other contest to hit this line.

Pittsburgh (5.37 BiteScore in 2025)

7.5 – Under

Pitt’s transfer class is ranked No. 90 in the nation, sitting between Louisiana-Monroe and Nevada. You have to win in the portal these days. That’s all I have to say.

Wake Forest (5.08 BiteScore in 2025)

5.5 – Over

Wake Forest has been under-the-radar good in recent history, with three bowl wins over the last five seasons. UNC transfer QB Gio Lopez has plenty of starts under his belt and is ready for a full-season campaign.

Clemson (4.62 BiteScore in 2025)

7.5 – Over

Clemson is coming off its worst season since 2010, when it still managed seven wins. I’m taking that as an outlier. This team is still loaded, including talented QB Christopher Vizzina finally getting the nod after patiently waiting three seasons.

Stanford (4.59 BiteScore in 2025)

3.5 – Under

Stanford is in a bowl game drought, and that’s not ending in 2026. The Cardinal brought in the No. 130-ranked transfer class, the worst in the Power 4. That includes former Michigan walk-on QB Davis Warren, who appears to be the Week 1 starter.

Georgia Tech (4.54 BiteScore in 2025)

6.5 – Over

Georgia Tech once again has low expectations, and we all know Brent Key loves an underdog story. The Yellow Jackets brought in star Michigan RB Justice Haynes to continue the trend of elite rushing offenses. Key will take advantage of the cakewalk in the first three contests.

Florida State (4.39 BiteScore in 2025)

6.5 – Under

The former Ferrari program is now a clown car. Florida State failed to bring in conference-winning talent once again this offseason. This 2026 campaign will put the nail in the coffin of Mike Norvell’s career.

Virginia Tech (3.93 BiteScore in 2025)

7.5 – Over

Penn State wasted no time firing James Franklin after three straight losses in 2025. Virginia Tech pounced on the opportunity. The offseason featured a great transfer class by the Hokies’ standards, including former four-star QB Ethan Grunkemeyer. Franklin can will this team to bowl season.

Boston College (3.84 BiteScore in 2025)

3.5 – Under

Boston College had a complete roster makeover this offseason, losing 29 players to the portal and bringing in 26 new ones. Still, the Eagles’ offense in 2025 should’ve been a lot better with former NFL OC Bill O’Brien as head coach, and this new look isn’t much prettier.

California (3.40 BiteScore in 2025)

6.5 – Over

California performed a coaching staff do-over to build the right system for star QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele. Nick Rolovich was the offensive coordinator of choice, and he’s known to curate a powerful passing attack.

Syracuse (3.19 BiteScore in 2025)

4.5 – Over

Syracuse returns QB Steve Angeli from injury while also bringing in Kennesaw State transfer Amari Odom for competition. This offense was lighting up the scoreboard last year when they had a healthy quarterback. They’ll win five or more.

North Carolina (2.02 BiteScore in 2025)

4.5 – Under

This Bill Belichick thing is going to work out, right? Wrong. The eight-time Super Bowl champion hasn’t had a winning season as a head coach in the last four years, and an average-at-best transfer class isn’t going to change that.
