Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith has a perfect 10 BiteScore on the season.

Some National Football League fans are already counting down the days to April 29 of next year.

That’s when the 2027 NFL draft takes place, where teams will look to find ways to elevate their rosters by adding young players who could change the outlook of these franchises. There’s still plenty of time before commissioner Roger Goodell takes the stage to boos in Washington D.C., to announce the first overall pick, but it’s never too early to look at who might hear their name called.

Check out the first-ever SprtsBite NFL Mock Draft, one that includes plenty of quarterback selections and some of college football’s best players.

That does it for the first NFL mock draft of the season. Six quarterbacks went off the board in the first round, with Arch Manning falling to the 17th pick to Cleveland. The first to go is Miami’s Darian Mensah, who’s the current-third-best BiteScore quarterback in the country.

Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith, the BiteScore No. 2 wide receiver, was the first non-quarterback off the board. The first defensive player, unsurprisingly, is Texas edge Colin Simmons, who also has a perfect score.
